REVOLUTIONARY LOADING ASSEMBLY FOR EASIER, FASTER INSTALLATION
A new type of loading assembly for process weighing applications has been
developed to allow simple, fast installation and removal without specialist equipment.
Launched by Thames Side Sensors at Solidex 2001, LeverMountTM has an exclusive
design which can be safely raised and lowered under load with no need for separate
support pillars or external jacks.
LeverMount is supplied as a complete assembly with its own load cell.
Once the vessel has been positioned on the sturdy base casting, the removal of
two transit bolts allows the load cell itself to act as a lever, raising the top plate
of the mount into the working position.
The procedure is simply reversed when the load cell needs to be removed.
Installation and removal can be carried out regardless of whether the vessel is
empty or full, resulting in significant downtime savings.
To ensure durability even in the harshest environments, LeverMount
combines a simple, two-part mount cast in stainless steel with a fully-welded, stainless
steel load cell sealed to IP68. Users have a choice of three single-ended shear
beam load cells rated for 500 kg, 1000 kg or 2000 kg. A larger mount supplied with
a 5000 kg load cell is currently being developed.
LeverMount can be configured for radial, tangential or offset mounting,
allowing easy alignment during installation. A substantial lift-off prevention
capacity ensures safety and consistent accuracy. The top plate is designed for
linear and rotational movement to accommodate any misalignment of steelwork, and to
prevent errors due to expansion and contraction of the vessel.
