THAMES SIDE TO SELL UTILCELL LOAD CELLS

Thames Side Sensors has significantly extended its product range following a deal to make it the sole distributor in the United Kingdom and Ireland for Utilcell s.r.o., Spain's leading load cell manufacturer.

Thames Side is now able to offer a range of load cells complementary to its own, enabling it to provide an even more comprehensive service to existing customers, and expand into new markets.

Founded in 1980, Utilcell have primarily provided load cells to scale manufacturers.   These are generally of smaller capacity than Thames Side Sensors's load cells and include the 350, a single ended shear beam for platform scales or silo tank and hopper scales.   They also make large capacity products for the weighbridge industry, including the 740 self-centring compression column cell.
