HIGH CAPACITY LOAD CELL FOR WEIGHBRIDGES

Following its appointment as sole distributor in the United Kingdom and Ireland for Utilcell s.r.o., Spain's leading manufacturer of load cells, Thames Side Sensors is now able to offer a range of large-capacity products for the weighbridge industry.   The range includes the extremely rugged and durable Model 740 self-centring, column compression cell.

The Model 740 is a cost-effective, rocker pin load cell, available in capacities from 15t to 60t.   It ensures high-accuracy weighing over a wide load range, approved to 3000 divisions O.I.M.L. R60 class C.   Its fully welded, stainless steel construction, hermetically sealed to IP68, can withstand the demanding physical parameters and severe environments of truck weighing.

Designed to be self-centring, the Model 740 adjusts for the considerable horizontal forces on weighbridges, such as truck braking.   It also features pre-corner adjustment, optimised for multicell weighbridge systems.   Supplied with mounting cups, it is simple to install, reducing the cost in accessories and mounting hardware for the scale manufacturer.
