The global health crisis caused by the Coronavirus (Covid-19 / SARS-CoV-2) has created an International State of Emergency. The conditions and guidelines of the Governments where we operate are constantly changing and we are paying close attention to them, remaining adaptable to the new circumstances every day.
We would like to reassure our valued customers that Thames Side Sensors remains fully operational, including Production, Sales, Technical Support and Logistics/Shipping, to be ready for continued international delivery of products. Our load cells are heavily used within industrial weighing equipment worldwide, which is critical for the manufacturing and handling of products considered essential in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, transport and energy sectors, as well as others.
To ensure the maximum possible safety for our valued teams of people, we have taken the necessary measures and adapted our internal processes according to the current health recommendations and directives in each of our operating locations. Most of our office staff are working from their homes, while in Production and Logistics/Shipping we are working under new safety protocols and utilising the correct equipment to protect our people.
Although we are 100% operational and we have a good stock of finished products, it’s possible that there may be some delays in delivery times (depending on the particular product that you require). This is due to the changing situation experienced in previous weeks, including some days when production capacity was reduced to a minimum number of essential workers, as well as some absences due to precautionary measures to protect the most vulnerable members of the team.
We have now absorbed most of the delays, so we would like to ask for your comprehension and collaboration by giving us the most advanced notice that you can of critical orders, to allow us to work together to fulfil your requirement and discuss your options.
